Gary began his career in a foreign-owned and multinational company based in Singapore, specializing in regional sales for industrial products and automation & control businesses responsible for Asia territory in the oil & gas and power generation market. Earlier in 2000, he took on a new challenge as Director for a Singapore-based Mechanical & Electrical Construction Company to start a new Industrial Business Unit focusing on oil & gas, petrochemical and power generation markets in Singapore and other ASEAN Countries.

During his tenure of over a decade, he has successfully developed the Industrial Business Unit into a multi-million dollar business with industrial product solutions, system integration and turnkey engineering, procurement and construction capabilities.

After decades of holding various key managerial and leadership positions in multiple companies, he has decided to resign from his last employment as President & Managing Director. He then established his own holding company, GSC Venture Pte Ltd, in February 2010 and commenced his journey as an entrepreneur.

He embarked on a business venture by setting up a joint venture entity in Singapore with a European Technology Company focusing on the Oil & Gas and Power market segments in the Asia Pacific region. Since then, GSC Venture Pte Ltd has developed a humble track record with various business partnerships.

Currently, he focuses his time on managing the joint venture entity, RMA Fiventures, as President and CEO, where GSC Venture is one of the active shareholders in this entity, and most recently, as the CEO of MEDS.

Sam, Kok Jye

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Sam has over two decades of experience in the oil & gas industry, mainly in after-sales service and project management. He began his career in 1996 as a Field Service Engineer in the oil & gas exploration industry. In the past 20 years, he has worked with clients in after-sales service and project management for analytical systems, heat tracing systems, fuel gas conditioning skid package and turnkey engineering, procurement construction contracts in Natural Gas, LNG, Power and Petrochemical Industries. In 2014, he joined Fiventures Pte Ltd as a shareholder.

Hoo, Leong Yik

Mr. Hoo has over 18 years of experience in senior management positions with various responsibilities, including sales and marketing, proposal management, procurement and contract management. In 1997, he began his career as a qualified engineer. Subsequently, in 2001, he started his career in a Product, System Integration and Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning company, serving the gas, power and petrochemical Industry. In 2012, he became one of the founders of Fiventures Pte Ltd.

Mohd Faizal Bin Johari

Over the last 19 years, Mr. Faizal had vast experience serving the oil and gas, gas transmission & distribution and power generation industry. In 1999, his career began when he joined a major crude oil producer and supplier of natural gas in Malaysia. Then, he developed his portfolio in managing multidisciplinary engineering and commissioning activities in various projects around major continents, mainly in Plant’s Upstream and Downstream applications. In 2013, he joined Fiventures Pte Ltd as a shareholder.

Bernard Anthony

With a career spanning over 30 years within premier multinational corporations, Bernard is a distinguished leader in the global Energy Sector. His deep-seated expertise in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) has been the driving force behind some of the region’s most complex infrastructure, specifically focusing on Large Combined Cycle Power Plants. Having spearheaded major projects across Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, Bernard possesses a nuanced understanding of the diverse regulatory and economic landscapes that define the Asia-Pacific market.

Throughout his tenure, Bernard has demonstrated an exceptional ability to navigate high-stakes strategic missions. Notable highlights of his track record include:

  • Business Transformation: Successfully turning a struggling business unit in Indonesia into a profitable enterprise within just a few years.
  • Strategic M&A: Serving as a core member of a business acquisition team that executed a seamless transition and integration within a rigorous 8-month timeline.
  • Technical Innovation: Leading the successful commercialization of a 1,760-MW single-shaft gas power configuration, including its groundbreaking integration with a Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) in Indonesia.

In his current role as Chief Business Officer at RMA Fiventures, Bernard is focused on the “Energy Shift.” He is a vocal advocate for the integration of digitalization and artificial intelligence as essential tools for modern energy management. By leveraging these technologies, he enables customers to monitor and manage emissions more effectively, creating sustainable value in a rapidly evolving market.

Beyond his technical and commercial acumen, Bernard is defined by his commitment to human capital. He believes that true career success is rooted in the development of people; he is a passionate mentor who takes pride in sharing his knowledge with internal teams and external partners alike.

Now residing in Indonesia, Bernard maintains a global perspective through an extensive network of customers, vendors, and suppliers. When not navigating the future of energy, he enjoys an active lifestyle, spending quality time with his family and engaging in outdoor activities.
